Lafitte Cork Portugal Recognized with Estatuto Inovadora COTEC 2024

Founded in Toulouse in 1918, Lafitte Cork produces cork stoppers and capsules for wines and spirits. In 1956, the first production unit was set up in Portugal, the country of origin of the company's main raw material. Today, in addition to France and Portugal, the company has facilities in Spain, Italy, the United States, Chile and Argentina. Lafitte Cork Portugal, however, remains the main producer of this multinational group, which distributes around 350 million cork stoppers every year.
Received in its 68th year of activity, this distinction clearly reflects Lafitte Cork Portugal's ongoing efforts to push the boundaries of innovation while maintaining a firm commitment to sustainable practices.
